The wonderfully talented artist Adele Goodman is back!
Meet Mr. Carson
Portrait by Adele Goodman
Mr. Carson is the beloved Chihuahua fur baby of Dr. Don and Bethany Fortner. He is as active and fun as he is cute. Bethany describes him as,”…a tiny puppy with a large personality.” Adele Goodman, the artist, commented that Mr. Carson’s sparkly personality and sweet disposition came through in all the pictures she took to develop the portrait.
Don Fortner is a member of Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary Board of Directors. He and wife Bethany actively support the group’s efforts to care for and find families for homeless cats and dogs. They were surprised and grateful to win the raffle during a FFAS fundraising dinner at La Cava sponsored by the Fortners and Gianni and Mona Moscardini, La Cava owners. Those who know Don’s generosity and work on behalf of FFAS, as well as his devotion to this adorable little dog, were delighted to see him rewarded.
FFAS sincerely appreciates the portrait donation from Adele Goodman. She is a well known local artist with a huge heart for animals. She spends time getting to know her subject and taking photos. She then spends many hours developing the portrait. We are thankful for her generous gift of time and talent on behalf of Faithful Friends.
“Seeing the portrait for the first time gave me chills,” says Bethany. ” It is truly breathtaking. From his coloring, to his stance, to the spirit in his eyes, Adele captured him perfectly! She is an amazing artist. This portrait is one of our newest treasurers.”
Congratulations to the Fortners and thank you to Adele Goodman. Keep sparkling Mr. Carson!
